Item code feature

Purpose :  The  Item code will be generated for each item with the unique number to represent the item with the code so we can search the item based on the item code. In the sales billing screen we can search the item in easier way by the item code option.

 

Steps to Enable the Configuration:

 

 Step 1: Go to Settings->Configuration->Sales Configuration->"Enable the item code search " as "Yes" ->Update.

 

 

 

After the enable the configuration You will find the item code field in the item.

 

Step 2: To identify the item code of the item. Go to Master ->Item ->edit item ->Check the "item code" number of the item.

 

 

 

After knowing the item code , Based on the item code can be searched on the sales bill screen.

Step 3:In Sales bill screen ->In search option-> Type the item code to get the item.
