The Item Search Preference feature in GoBill is designed to help users easily and quickly find the items they need when creating a bill or invoice. It allows users to customize their search preferences based on certain criteria, such as item code, item name, or Item Alias. In the Item Search option, by default Item name, Item Code, Item Alias search will be available. Some users might need either search by name or code or alias. So we have an option to configure based on the user need.
Step 1: Open the GoBill Mobile App and go to Settings > General > Item Search Preferences
Step 2: Activate the Item Search Preference you want to enable by putting a tick ☑ on the Check box ☐.
Item Name means, we will search by typing the item name in the search box.
Item Alias means, we will search with the item's Alias Name which is saved in the item master by typing in the search box.
Item Code means, we will search by item code in the search box.
