Area Master Enhanced in HQ:
The Area Master allows users to manage and organize different geographical areas or locations within their organization. The purpose of an Area Master is to provide a structured way to handle operations, data, and information across various regions or branches of a business.
It also allows you to segregate your serviceable area types into two parts, Outlet Service Area and business Service Area. This way we can easily fetch the records in reports.
Outlet Service Area: In the Outlet Service Area, we can create an area and Map the outlets with the same.
Business Service Area: In the Business Service Area, we can create an area and choose the Area Master Attributes & its values to get a detailed report for MIS purposes.
Below are the steps to make the Area Master Enhance along with the Outlet Service Area & Business Service Area:
Step 1: Go to MDM > Attribute Master Management > Area Master - Enhanced
Step 2: Click on the "Add" button to add an Area Master.
Step 3: Put the Area Name, Status, Type = Business Service Area. When we select the Type as Business Service Area, we can select the Area Attribute Master we had created earlier along with its values. Then put the Report to = HQ.
When we select the Type Outlet Service Area, the options get changed and we need to select the outlets that we want to map with the area master.
