Price Level

What are the configurations available in Price Level?

Introduction

Price levels are a different range of prices configured for selling the items to different types of customers. The items are sold to different customers with different prices other than the fixed selling price of the items.

Users can configure price levels either to increase or decrease the rate of the items from their normal rates including the Selling price, Landing cost, Purchase price, MRP etc.

Example:
1. +10% (in percentage) from Landing cost, +20 Rupees (in amount) from purchase price etc. (Increase)
2. -5% from Selling price, -10 rupees from MRP etc. (Decrease)

There may be different types of customers such as retailers, end users etc. visiting the store for purchase. Among the retailers, there could be different types such as the one making bulk purchase and the other purchasing rarely in your store. Like this, you may have different types of customers.

For each customer, you may not sell the items for the same selling price. To each customer, you need to fix different selling price of the items. Like +5% from the landing cost (or) - 20% from MRP
for a retailer and +10% from the selling price to the end-users. Like this, you may want to have different range of price to different types of customers.

Price level is one such feature which caters to all your needs for customizing and configuring the prices.
