Overview of Price Level Master

What are the various types of Price Level?

Price level Master
Use the Price Level Master to create new price levels. By default, three price levels (Whole sale, Semi-whole sale and Seasonal) are provided. Out of the 25 price levels, one price level must be created as the BASE and the remaining 24 price levels will depend on this BASE price level. Price Level types
To work with price levels in Price level master, you need to create two types of price levels
  1. BASE price level - It is a price level which stands on its own and all other price levels depend on this price level.
  2. Non-base price level - depends on the BASE price level and works according to the price type defined in the BASE price level.

Drawback
1. The price levels created in Price Level Master will be applied to all the items in the billing screen. In the same bill, if you want to apply the price level only for certain items, these price levels are not helpful. In such a case, you need to apply Price Level Vs Items.

2. The price levels will work only for one price types (selling price or MRP or purchase price or landing cost) of the items based on the selection in BASE.
