Overview  

 

The Settings Menu in TruePOS offers a variety of options to personalize and manage your point-of-sale system settings for an efficient and customized user experience.

 

1. How many languages are supported in TruePOS?  

Answer: TruePOS currently supports 4 languages:

  • English

  • Tamil

  • Portuguese

  • French

  • Arabic

 

 

2. What options are available under the Personalize screen?  

Answer: The Personalize menu allows users to adjust several key settings:

  • Home Page Configuration:

    • Press the "Space bar" in the home page field.

    • Select any menu that you wish to set as the homepage. This is the dashboard that appears upon login.

  • Maximum Idle Time:

    • Set the maximum idle time (in minutes) after which the system will automatically log out of the domain.

  • Change Password:

    • Allows changing the password for the "Admin" login for added security.

 

3. What information is available in the 'About' menu?  

Answer: The About menu provides important details, including:

  • Customer ID: The unique ID assigned to your account.

  • TruePOS Version: The version of TruePOS you are currently using.

These functionalities in the Settings Menu ensure that users can tailor their experience, maintain security, and access essential system information with ease.
