Purpose: The Purpose of Referral Discount are kind of an incentives given to the customers who actively promote and refer the shop or business.A customer referral program is a word-of-mouth marketing strategy that rewards existing customers for spreading the word about the product or service with family, friends, and colleagues.

Benefits: The benefits of Referral Program is the most trusted form of advertisement. A referral program costs you nothing, often lower than what you typically spend to get a lead via advertising. Referral programs reward both existing and new customers. While existing happy customers get an incentive to recommend more top-tier buyers, new customers receive discounts on their first purchase. Those new customers can also earn referral bonuses by bringing in more new customers. You see, it’s a win-win for both of them and you as well.

Procedure to Configure Referral Discount in OrderEasy:

Step 1: Login to OrderEasy Portal. There, click on Offer Management-->Click on Referral Tab as shown in the below image.

Step 2: First we need to setup the Refferal Name that we want. Under Referral Name--Type the name that you want to display to the customer who want to refer. Then, Activate the Refferal Status as shown below.

Step 3: Mention the description that you want to show to the refferal person on what this referral discount is.

Step 4: Once the description is given, mention how this referral scheme will work, so that based on the content that you enter, many customers will start referring the business.

Step 5: Now, we need to set the discount for the referrer who is going to refer the app or the business.  

➤ Activate the Refferer Discount Option.

➤ Enter the Points that you want to set per referral.

➤ Mention the amount that you want to provide for one point. For Eg: 1 Point

➤ equals to Rs.1.

➤ Enter the Minimum Order Value that the referrer has to be purchase.

➤ Update the maximum points that can be redeemed for one order.

Step 6: In the Referrer Discount, there is an option called Discount criteria, where we can set whether the referrer discount should be allowed after the new refferal person is registering in the app or after they make the first order.  Based on your requirement, you can select the Discount Criteria as shown below.

Step 7: Let's see how the Referee Discount works.

In Referral Tab itself, you can see Referee Discount option, enable that as shown in the below image.

Enter the Minimum order amount that Referee has to order for the first time.

Step 8: For Referee Discount, we can set the Discount Redemption either as a Percentage or as an amount. Based on the configuration that we set, it will get redeemed.

Step 9: We can also set the Discount Limit for Referee while making the order, the discount limit is to make sure that based on the order amount the mentioned discount should be calculated. It can be mentioned under Discount Limit and we can set the validity till when this discount can be claimed.

Step 10: Once all the configuration is set, click on Save on the right top corner.

Now, let's us see how the above set configuration will work in OrderEasy Mobile Applicaiton.

Step 1: Login to OrderEasy Mobile Application-->Click on the Account Profile Option that shows in the right top corner.

Step 2: Under Accounts-->Go to Others---> Click on Refer a friend Option as shown below.

Step 3: Once you click on Refer a friend, it will load to the Referral Code option and where it will show the description and how it works.

Step 4: In order to share the Code to a friend or a neighbor, click on Share--which will load to the app screen and you can share it through any mode as shown below.

Also you can see the message content how it will reach to the person that you have shared.

In order to see the points that you have earned through referral, you can view that by clicking on Total Points Earned in the bottom of the Referring Page.

Step 5: Once the friend has registered and has placed the order, then the referral discount will be applicable for the person who has referred. After selecting the required products and click on cart. There enable the option Redeem referral points. Once you enable, it will show a pop up as Redeem offer applied successfully.

Once you complete purchasing the items, it will show a pop up as offer applied successfully for the order that has been placed and it will show the discount amount how much has been given as discount as shown below.

Claiming the Discount by the Referee:

Step 1: The Referee has to install the application and register the application. Then click on the link that has been shared by the Referrer and apply the code that has been shared. Then it will show as Unlocked referral discount.

Step 2: Once it is unlocked, select the items that is required, add it to cart and then enable the option-->Redeem Referral points, where you can see the value for which you have to place minimum order and the date when it gets expired.

Step 3: Once the Redeem Referral Points Option is enabled it will show a pop up screen as Discount Applied as shown in the below image. (Referral Discount Applied Successfully)

Step 4: Once the discount is applied, the summary details will display where the referral offer that is applied can been seen as shown below.
