Report settings is used to make changes or alter the report as per our desire. Through report settings, we can do the following
1) Enable and disable columns which need to be displayed
2) Sort the columns
3) Group the columns
4) Obtain the sum of values of the column
1) To enable and disable the columns
Step 1 : Go to Report -> Select the desired report
Step 2 : Load the report and apply the necessary filter conditions like Date, Location and click on Apply
Step 3 : After Filtering, the report will be loaded. Click on report settings icon shown in the left panel -> Display -> Type the column name which need to be enable/ disable. Mark the column and after making the changes, click on apply.
The consolidated report according to the applied report settings will appear.
Rearranging of columns
The columns in the report can be rearranged by per requirement. To do that
Choose the required report and load the details with the date range and location
Click on the column that has to be rearranged
For eg. The GST and Tax columns have to be interchanged
Click on the GST column and using the mouse move the column to the Tax column. There will be two down arrows which help to do that
Move the columns and there will be a message that the settings are saved successfully
The columns are interchanged as below
Changing the column Name
The column names in the report can be changed as per requirement
Go to Report->Report Settings. Click on the Settings icon
Choose the column name that has to be changed
Click on the Pencil icon to edit the name and click the Tick mark
The name will be changed and save the information
Note: In the case the default name has to be restored, click on Reset to Default name and the column names will be set to default names
Computing Data
The data extracted from the reports can be computed into the total fields. To compute data
Go to Report->Choose the desired report with the date range and location
Go to Settings and choose Computation data from below
Choose the columns required for computing the data by enabling or disabling the columns
Click on save and the Totals for the chosen columns will be calculated
