1. Is there a limitation on the number of items in the favorite screen?

A: In the favorite screen, there is a limitation for 45 items only (15 per screen)

2. Can i edit a sale bill after the session is closed?

A: No, for sales edit, it only displays all the bills made in the current session and also credit bills and refund bills cannot be edited

 

3. While taking orders in tables, if an item is not added in the KOT, can i add the item while billing

A: No, KOT cannot be edited

4. Can I change the order type while making a bill

A: The order type can be changed before the bill is processed. Once the bill is created, it cannot be changed

5. I have the Servjoy app in my mobile. Can i take orders and do the billing

A: Yes you can take orders for the tables. The information will be synyed from the Pos. You cannot do billing from the app. Only the bill can be generated. The billing and payment has to be done from Pos

6. Is there a limitation on the items i can add to cart. Also before the payment is done will the bill show the amount and the number (count) of items in the cart

A: No any number of items can be added to cart. The sales receipt generated will show the number of items. In pos, the cart screen will show the items and not the count

7. Can i print sales receipts for previous dates

A: Yes, generally the reprint is allowed for a day. In case you want to reprint for more days, change the configuration in Setting->Users & permissions->Users. For the user under configuration change the number of days to allow refund/reprint for a maximum of 30 days

8. Can i do a partial refund

A: A partial refund can be done only if the payment is made fully in cash. If payment is done through other modes, then only a complete refund is possible

9. When i refunded a receipt, can i edit or cancel it

A; No, refunded receipts cannot be edited or cancelled

10. When i open a session in browser, can i open another session in a tab

A: You cannot open a session with the same login in two devices

11. While doing a sale bill, can i add the customer name

A: Yes you can quickly add some customer details while billing by choosing add customer

 

12. How to give packing charge to bill?

  • These are charges added to the items in the bill for packing

  • Go to Settings->Configurations->Sales configurations

  • Choose Calculate packing charge based on Bill

 

 

 

  • Go to Settings->Order types->Enable packing amount for the location and order type

 

 

 

  • In the Sales bill under More options choose Packing charge

  • Enter the amount and click on Done for the packing charge to be added to the bill

 

 

13. How to increase Quantity in sales screen for respective item

The quantity of an item to be sold can be increased at the time of billing and the payment will be automatically adjusted.

Step 1: Go to Sales->Sales bill->Choose the item to bill

 

 

 

 

Step 2: Click on the item and change the quantity by clicking on the + sign and click on Done

The quantity will be changed accordingly
