The Shipment Creation module allows users to:

  1. Add Shipment Details: Define essential information for shipments.

  2. Centralize Shipment Management: Ensure that all shipment-related details are recorded accurately.

Steps to Create a Shipment in TruePOS  
  1. Access the Shipment Creation Module

    • Log in to TruePOS.

    • Navigate to Masters > Branch > Shipment.

 

 

  1. Add a New Shipment

    • Click on the New Add Shipment button.

    • Fill in the required fields:

 

 

 


Field Descriptions  
  1. Name:

    • Enter the shipment name. Example: "Chennai Warehouse Dispatch" or "Delhi Express Shipment."

    • Ensure the name is unique and descriptive.

  1. Address:

    • Provide the complete shipment address, including street name and building number.

    • Example: "No. 15, 4th Cross Street, Industrial Area."

  1. Mobile Number:

    • Enter a valid contact number for shipment inquiries.

    • Format: +91-XXXXXXXXXX (for India).

  1. Status:

    • Choose the shipment status:

      • Active: Indicates the shipment is operational.

      • Inactive: Indicates the shipment is not in use.

  1. Country:

    • Select the country to which the shipment belongs.

    • Example: India, USA, etc.

 

 

  1. State:

    • Select the state from the dropdown menu. This ensures proper tax and logistics configurations.

    • Example: Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra.

  1. ERP Code:

    • Enter the ERP code for integration and tracking purposes.

    • Example: SHP001, SHP002.

  1. City:

    • Enter the city name where the shipment originates or is destined.

    • Example: Chennai, Bangalore.

  1. Postal Code:

    • Enter the postal code/ZIP code for the shipment address.

    • Example: 600032.

  1. Save the Shipment

    • Once all fields are filled, click Save to create the shipment.

  1. Verify Shipment Details

    • Navigate back to Masters > Branch > Shipment.

    • Confirm that the new shipment details appear in the list.
