How does the Smart mode work?
Once the 'smart mode' flow is selected as a pre-requisite in Web app configuration or when a new cycle is generated by terminating the current one, GoSure takes upto 30 mins to sync with the inventory, transactions and follow the ABC analysis on inventory to come up with the products to be counted for the day.
Proceed to settings-> Employee to category mapping-> Map the categories with the employees from the list of stocktakers available.
Navigate to STOCKTAKE ASSIGNMENT SCREEN
->Check out the tasks generated to be assigned to employees based on the ABC analysis on your inventory everyday.
NOTE: ABC analysis- GoSure studies your daily transactions and based on few parameters like 'non-moving', 'fast-moving', 'moderate-moving', 'high cost', 'low cost, 'medium cost' , etc and categorizes the inventory as A, B, C categories-> picks items from each of the above mentioned category and distributes them among the employees in a prioritized manner
->Click on confirm to assign the tasks to employees
->If an employee is unavailable for stocktake or is on leave, the inventory manager can also re-distibute the items assigned for the employee amongst other employees or maybe postpone it too under the 'status' tab besides each employee's name.
How to track employee efficiency in Smart mode?
Navigate to 'Employee efficiency' screen, search for employee's name to check their efficiency with respect to their stocktake performance. For eg, correct stocktake data, time taken to count the number of products assigned, etc.
What is extra under 'Settings' in Smart mode?
Scheduler configuration:
To perform a disciplined daily stock take, this config enables you to schedule a daily stocktake task to your employees, once from the web app. The tasks once scheduled here will reach your stocktakers mobile phones everyday as notification at 9:30 A.M.
If the employees should not be able to end their session in POS without performing a stocktake activity for the day, we can restrict that action in the sub-setting under the scheduler config. This would encourage a daily mandatory stocktake for a healthy inventory.
How to use this?
- Go to Settings-> Stock taking configuration-> Enable daily stock take schedule
-If session close in POS should be restricted without a stocktake activity under an employee (stocktaker), please enable the 'Allow POS session close on completion' option -> Click on apply.
-Navigate to scheduler configuration screen-> select the categories for each day in the week for one time scheduling ->once the categories mapped day-wise (categories can be repeated too for a week), the schedule can be saved.
-User can search the categories as in what day(s) are they mapped for / are they mapped atleast once in the search bar provided on the right top corner.
