Solution to 'blank space prints' due to Windows 10 update

Did you update the Windows 10 OS version recently? If yes, then you would have noticed that your bills are being printed incompletely after the recent update. Do not worry! This is globally reported by many Windows 10 customer which is being fixed in their release KB5001649

Please follow the below steps for resolving "blank space printing issue" in the Windows 10 environment after the recent patch update

  1. Check if the customer has updated the latest Windows patch or not. If not please get a convenient time and update the same
  2. Once the update is over. Make sure the windows update for KB5001649 is available in Windows patch history (How to check windows patch history?)
  3. If the windows update for KB5001649 is not listed. Download the patch from the Link and apply the patch manually 
  4. If there is any problem or exception while updating the patch manually, 
          I. Uninstall the older windows patch which caused the print issue KB5000802 and KB5001567 (How to uninstall Installed windows update?)
          II. Or provide the workaround solution by changing configuration in the printer driver as print directly to the printer
