Firebase is Google's mobile application development platform that helps you build, improve, and grow your app.
Google Analytics collects usage and behavior data for your app. There are two primary types of information:
- Events: What is happening in your app, such as user actions, system events, or errors.
- User properties: Attributes you define to describe segments of your user base, such as language preference or geographic location.
OrderEasy app is integrated with Firebase analytics to help you to track the usage analytics of your app. In order to configure your app with Firebase analytics, you will have to create a JSON file.
Steps to create firebase analytics JSON file:
1. Go to the Firebase website and click on Go to console and sign in with a Google account of your play store
2. Create a new project by clicking create a project.
3. Enter your own app name as a Project name, accept the firebase terms, and click continue the next step.
4. Next step, enable google analytics for this project and click continue.
5. In the final step, accept all the terms and create a project.
6. App will be list on the firebase dashboard page.
7. Click on the created project and add an app to this project android or ios. First click on android, follow the steps.
9. Download the config file and save it. This is used to track the analytics. Click on next.
10. Skip the next two steps. Share the downloaded JSON file with us.
11. Same above steps to be followed to add an ios app in the project.
12. Share the user permission to Gofrugal Omni account (
gofrugalomni@gmail.com). Click the project overview settings icon and click users and permissions in the popup.
13. Click on add member.
