What are the System Requirements to use a GOFRUGAL software?

Recommended System  Configuration
Based on the transactions and the number of clients used, we suggest the following hardware configurations.
Server System Config (Server Only / Less than 200 transactions per day)*
1. RAM- 4GB or above
2. Hard Disk- 250 GB free space or above
3. OS-  Windows 7 SP1 /8.1 /10 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2
4. CPU- Intel Core i3-4330 or higher

Server System Config (up to 2 Clients / Less than 400 transactions per day)*
1. RAM- 6GB or above
2. Hard Disk- 250 GB free space or above
3. OS-  Windows 7 SP1 /8.1 /10 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2
4. CPU- Intel Core i5-4400 or higher
5. Fast or Gigabit LAN connection is required with static LAN IP

Server System Config (For 3 to 5 Clients / Less than 1000 transactions per day)*
1. RAM- 8GB or above
2. Hard Disk- 250 GB free space or above
3. OS-  Windows 7 SP1 /8.1 /10 / Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2
4. CPU- Intel Core i5-4670K / i7-4800 or higher
5. Fast or Gigabit LAN connection is required with static LAN IP
6. Standard or Enterprise SQL edition is recommended

Server System Config (For 5 to 15 Clients / Less than 2000 transactions per day)*
1. RAM- 16GB or above
2. Hard Disk - 320 GB free space or above.
3. OS-  Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2
4. CPU- Intel Xeon E5-2620 V5 or higher with CPU clock speed 2.3GHz or higher
5. Gigabit LAN connection is required with static LAN IP
6. Standard or Enterprise SQL edition is recommended

Server System Config (For 16 to 30 Clients / Less than 5000 transactions per day)*
1. RAM - 24 GB or above
2. Hard Disk- 500 GB free space or above
3. OS-  Windows Server 2008 R2 / Windows Server 2012 R2
4. CPU- Intel Xeon E7-8860 V5 or higher with CPU clock speed 2.3GHz or higher
5. Gigabit LAN connection is required with static LAN IP
5. Enterprise SQL edition is recommended

Client System Config:
1. RAM- 3GB or above
2. Hard Disk- 200 GB free space or above
3. OS-  Windows 7 SP1 /8.1 /10
4. CPU- Intel Core i3-4330 or higher
5. Fast or Gigabit LAN connection is required with static LAN IP

Compatible OS Detail:
• Windows 7 SP1
• Windows 8.1 / 10
• Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2


*SSD is recomended for OS Partition for Server Configuration of 5 or more clients
*Fast ethernet - 100Mbps - CAT 5 or CAT 5e
*Gigabit ethernet - 1Gbps - CAT 6

*Its recommended to install GoFrugal Software in Partition other than Operating System Partition.




Internet connection recommended : To have a broadband connection with modem and port forwarding option.  ( Not recommended : Data card / VPN Internet connection / VPN Wifi connections)
Note:
1. Proper anti virus should be installed wherever Internet is used, exclusion need to be added for Application and SQL installed path.
2. For customers having more than 5 clients, we recommend to use server based OS (Windows 2008 R2) for better performance.
3. Above system requirements mentioned may vary based on transactions used by the customer, get the complete transactions history per day before suggesting the hardware requirements .



**Transactions include all kind of transactions - Sales, Purchase, SO, PO etc.
**For business that doesn't match condition - For ex. Uses only one server but has more than 200 transactions a day, it is better to go with the next upgraded system configuration specified.
