However, since Muhurtham or any local festival or auspicious day spikes can vary, predicting them with precision may be a challenge. Ans: In Daily News - Supplier Service Excellence widget,
The supplier service excellence tracker is a valuable tool for businesses to monitor their supplier performance and take corrective measures in a timely manner. It provides a clear picture of the planned purchases versus actual receipts, along with a breakdown by replenishment mode and service group. The service groups include As Per Plan, Expired, Un Planned, Dumped, Un Ordered, Unserved, and Underserved.
The As Per Plan group represents suppliers who have delivered the exact products and quantities as requested by the business, while the Expired group includes purchase orders that have gone unserviced due to expiry. The Un Planned group indicates that the supplier has serviced the business without a purchase order, and the Dumped group signifies that the supplier has delivered more products than requested, resulting in the stock build-up. The Un Ordered group includes products that were not part of the purchase order, while the Unserved group represents purchase orders that were not fulfilled by the supplier. The Underserved group indicates that the supplier has delivered fewer products than requested.
The Eye is particularly useful for businesses to identify bad supplier behavior and take corrective measures to prevent unwanted stock build-up or out-of-stock situations. The ABCX filter enables businesses to focus on products that are important to their customers. Additionally, the tool allows users to interact with the pie chart and view supplier and purchase order details. The Eye's reporting feature provides the option to receive daily email reports for interested supplier service buckets. Overall, the supplier service excellence tracker is a valuable tool for businesses to monitor their supplier performance and take corrective actions in a timely manner.

The Eye also offers the ability to adjust these forecasts manually based on any additional insights or knowledge the customer may have.

Ans: The Eye allows for overriding certain master datasets, it is important to use your base product to modify any changes or additions to your master data to avoid issues with recovering your updates in the future. Your base system should be the single source of truth for master data in your business, except in unavoidable situations. By following this best practice, you can ensure that all systems in your business are working with accurate and up-to-date information, which can help to minimize errors and increase efficiency.
24. Is it required to set the MOQ manually every time there is a sales spike in my business, or will the eye do it automatically?
Ans: MOQ [Minimum Order Quantity is not necessary to set manually. By analyzing historical sales data, The Eye's AI model can identify patterns and trends in consumer demand for each individual product. This enables the system to make accurate predictions about future demand for each product and adjust inventory levels accordingly. The Eye's AI model can also incorporate external factors that may affect demand, such as seasonality, promotions, and market trends. By continuously learning from new sales data, the model can improve its accuracy over time and help retailers optimize their inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and stock-outs.
25. Can I set up supplier article mappings in The Eye itself?
Ans: It is good practice to configure all master-related information, including primary suppliers, in your POS system as the single source of truth for your business. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to override the primary supplier for certain articles in The Eye. This can be done using the primary supplier override widget. While overrides can be useful in certain situations, they should be used sparingly and with caution to maintain the integrity of your master data.
