What are Conditional Statements ? What are the different setting used in printer settings?
Conditional Statements for the configured printer helps you to generate the bill only when the conditions are valid or satisfied.
The conditional statements in the Easy Print tool for Restaurant vertical comprise of:
- Equal In Each Field Value
- Not Equal In Each Field Value
- Equal In Any One Field Value
- Equal In Each Field Value:
Equal In Each Field Value helps you to generate the bill only when the given conditions are satisfied.
For Example: If you have configured a certain Table (table number 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25) for OrderType Dine-In, then in such condition the printer will generate the bill print only when both the conditions (Dine-In and Specific Table) are fulfilled.
- Not Equal In Each Field Value:
Not Equal In Each Field Value helps you to generate the bill in the conditions apart from the given condition for the configured printers.
For Example: If you have configured for certain Table (table number 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25) for Order Type - Dine-In, then in such condition the printer will generate the bill print apart from the condition mentioned (that is except any of the table number 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25; and Order Type - Dine In).
- Equal In Any One Field Value:
Equal In Any One Field Value helps you to generate the bill if any one of the given conditions is satisfied.
For Example: If you have configured the printer for a certain Table (table number 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25) for Order Type Dine-In, then in such condition the printer will generate the bill print if any one of the conditions gets satisfied.
Others Settings:
- Copy Settings:
You can copy the complete printer setting for any of the configured printer.
- In the Configured System List, select the printer.
- Paste Settings:
You can paste the copied printer settings to any non-configured printer.
- In the Configured System List, select the Printer to be configured with copied printer settings.
- A message Do you wish to paste the setting from <<Printer Name>> is displayed. Click Yes.
- Delete Setting:
You can delete the printer settings in two ways that are by clicking the Delete Settings and by pressing the Delete Key.
- Delete Setting - You can delete the complete printer setting by clicking the Delete Setting.
- In the Configured System List, select the configured Printer to be deleted.
- A message Do you wish to delete the above selected printer setting is displayed. Click Yes.
- Delete Key You can delete only a particular configuration setting in a printer.
- In the Configured System List, select the configured Printer to delete.
- In the Field Name field, select the field name to be deleted.
- Press the DELETE key (from keyboard). The selected printer gets Strike off.
- Click Save Settings.
- A message Do you wish to save the setting is displayed. Click Yes.
- Only the selected printer configuration gets deleted.
- Clear Rows:
You can use Clear Rows to clear the field of a configured printer settings.
- In the Configured System List, select the configured Printer to be cleared.
- In the Field list. Select the field to be cleared.
- Click Clear Rows.
- A message Do you wish to clear the screen is displayed. Click Yes.
- Listing of Fields - Based on Filter:
You can filter the fields based on Text, Numeric, and Date apart from All lists.
- You can filter the field based on the option given below
- All - display all the fields
- Text - display the fields based on text
- Numeric - display the fields based on the number
- Date - display the fields based on the date
- Field Search:
You can search the fields through the Field Search.
