1. Is it possible to get PDFs for receipts, purchase orders, and reorder notifications.

Answer: We will not be able to get PDF's for Receipts, POs, and Reorder but we can get only for the sales bill.

 

2. How can we manage reminders for the next purchase in WhatsApp integration?

Answer: In POS enable "Reminder for next Purchase" option then will get reminder based on the requirement.

 

3. If we choose a customer as a credit customer and set a credit limit, WhatsApp messages are not being sent.

Answer: We can send messages for credit sales, but as of now, credit limit messages are not available.

 

4. Is it possible to send WhatsApp messages while making payments, issuing receipts, or entering credit to a particular owner?

Answer: No, it is not possible only the customer will receive messages.  

 

5. After configuring WhatsApp Integration, if the customer does not receive the Message, what needs to be checked?


Answer:  

    1. You need to check whether the TACC service for messages is running only on the server PC. If it's running on the client PC as well, disable it on the client PC and ensure it's only running on the server PC.

    2. Verify the license validity and ensure the mapped email ID is correct. Sometimes, customers may already be using an alert account, and if a new alert account is created without disabling the old one, issues can arise.

    3. Sync the license, then go to TACC service, click on Upload Master, and manually click on Download Configuration.

6. If the customer is receiving text messages only but not PDF links, what could be the reason for that?


Answer: This could happen because a necessary file is missing in the Alert portal or POS configuration is disabled "Send PDF of bill to customer via SMS". If the file is missing, then the alert team member will rectify it from the backend.

 

7. If a customer is already utilizing WhatsApp integration through a third-party provider, can this integration be linked with our base product?

Answer: Yes, this is possible, provided the customer is using the WhatsApp Cloud API.

Answer: To achieve a verified blue tick and display your shop name on WhatsApp, you need:

     At least three authentic reviews on public websites (these should not be paid promotions).

     Reviews on platforms where your products are being sold.

     News articles featuring your business (non-promotional content).

 

9. How can a customer receive a WhatsApp message from the POS application?

Answer: To trigger the SMS that sends a message to the customer's WhatsApp, you must first click on the print option within the POS application. Once this is done, the customer will receive the message on their WhatsApp.

 

10. What should be done if WhatsApp integration is not functioning on a client’s system?

Answer: If the WhatsApp integration is not functioning, ensure that the Visual Basic Power Pack setup is installed on the client’s system.

 

11. What should be checked if messages are not being triggered from the POS application?

Answer: If messages are not being triggered, check the alert_product_notify table to verify if there are entries for those specific transactions.

 

12. How can you ensure that a PDF copy of the bill is sent to customers via SMS from the POS application?

Answer: Verify that the “Send PDF of bill copy to customer via SMS” option is enabled in the POS application.

 

13. What are common reasons for message delivery failures in WhatsApp integration?

     WhatsApp Not Updated: If the recipient hasn't updated their WhatsApp to the latest version, message delivery may fail.

     Non-Existent Mobile Number: If the recipient’s mobile number is not linked to WhatsApp, the message cannot be delivered.

 

14. How many variables does the GoAlert WhatsApp template for bill invoices support?

Answer:The GoAlert WhatsApp template for bill invoices supports only two variables.

 

15. Does WhatsApp integration in GoAlert support two-way communication?

Answer: No, two-way communication is not supported with the WhatsApp integration.

 

16. Can promotional messages be sent through GoAlert’s WhatsApp integration?

Answer: Yes, promotional messages can be sent through the WhatsApp integration in GoAlert.

 

17. Which contact number is required for business verification and integration in GoAlert?

Answer: For business verification, the contact number listed on the Udhyam certificate must be used, and a new contact number (where WhatsApp has not previously been installed) is needed for integration.

 

18After the template registration process, whatsapp messages are not being sent to the customer. What could be the reason for that?
Answer: You need to check if a specific SMS event is enabled in the outlet configuration. If it's not enabled, first enable it, then go to the POS and download the configuration from TACC.
