The Location Master feature allows the creation of various virtual locations within a branch. For instance, consider a building with multiple floors: the ground floor is used for purchases, the first floor is designated for girls and women, the second floor caters to newborns, and the third floor is for boys and men. By utilizing the Location Master, businesses can efficiently manage operations across these different areas.
Many businesses prefer to process bills floor by floor, while payments are typically made at the cash counters on the ground floor. The Location Master facilitates this arrangement.
Let’s explore how to create the Location Master.
Navigate to MDM > Shop Master > Location Master.
Click the Add button.
Add the location name, short name, and status, then click the Save button.
Note: See the newly created location name in the list.
Open the outlet POS application and navigate to Tools > Masters > Location.
Click F5 View button and check the location master.
The location master dropdown will appear.
Select the desired location and start doing sales.
The following configuration needs to be activated for better location-based stock management.
