The License Manager Console in Gofrugal HQ is a centralized tool used to manage, allocate, and control licenses across all outlets within an organization. It enables efficient handling of add-ons, client installations, mobile applications, and integrations from a single interface.

Key Functions:

  • Custom Licenses:
    View and manage add-on licenses across outlets. Displays total, activated, and available licenses. Once activated, licenses cannot be modified.
  • Client Installations:
    Allocate and transfer client licenses between outlets. Adjust license counts and save changes to reassign usage as needed.
  • Chain Mobile Applications:
    Enable and map mobile apps (e.g., WhatsNow, AccountsEasy) to outlets through simple checkbox selection.
  • POS Mobile Applications:
    Manage mobile app licenses for POS operations. Supports activation and transfer of licenses between outlets.
  • Upgrade Editions:
    Upgrade the software edition of selected outlets based on business requirements.
  • 3rd Party Integrations:
    Activate and manage licenses for external integrations within the system.

To use the License Manager Console:

Open HQ and navigate to Support > License Manager Console.

  • The first section is Custom Licenses. On the left side of the screen, all custom licenses are listed, while the right side displays the outlet names. You can also view the total number of licenses, the number of activated licenses, and the number of licenses still available. Note that once a license is activated for an outlet, it cannot be modified.

  • The second section is Client Installations. The client installation feature is displayed on the left, while outlet names appear on the right. You can view the total number of licenses, activated licenses, and those currently available.

  • You can activate client licenses at your preferred outlets. To transfer a client license from one outlet to another, decrease the count at one outlet and increase it at the other. After making changes, click the Save button.

  • The third section is Chain Mobile Applications. Here, you can map mobile apps such as WhatsNow and AccountsEasy on Mobile. Select the desired checkboxes and then click the Save button to complete the process.

  • The fourth section is POS Mobile Applications. The mobile application names are listed on the left, while the outlet names appear on the right. You can view the total number of licenses, activated licenses, and those currently available.

  • You can activate licenses at your preferred outlets. To transfer a license from one outlet to another, decrease the count at one outlet and increase it at the other. After making the changes, click the Save button.

 

  • The fifth section is Upgrade Editions. From here, you can upgrade the editions of the selected outlets, if required.

  • The final section is 3rd Party Integrations. From here, you can activate licenses for various third-party integrations.
