Creating Kits and Ingredients
First, create products in product master with mandatory fields,
For production, Preparation status should mention in product master
Basically in preparation status 2 fields should map
1.Kit(final product)
2.Ingredient(Base/raw material)
In product master Conversion for that product should also map
Do the conversion for all Ingredients and Kit.
Step 2

Step 2
Conversion Master
- Go to Inventory > Production > Conversion Master
- In conversion, the master needs to create conversions needed for Production like gram/kg/ml/litre.
- Conversion creation is a one time process.
Step 3
ITEM vs CONVERSION/UOM.
In this screen need to map the appropriate qty for UOM
Steps:
- Place the cursor in code and give enter. product list will come.
- Now select the product in which UOM need to map, once product selected click on F3, the cursor will move to the detail section
- In "detail section", you need to give the correct conversion based on units.
- once conversion mapping is done need to click on f3 for map.
- once the mapping is done we will get status as mapped.
- give F2 for saving.
Third step
Kit configuration,
This is the important step in Production because in this kit configuration only we need to give the Final product qty and
qty of ingredients need to prepare for create.
while selecting Ingredients should select the packing/UOM carefully ,from this calculation only it will take the QTY from Stock.
Fourth step
Production target.
In this production target we need to give qty of final product to be prepared in this particular plan.
In this screen it will take the ingredients qty based on Kit configuration qty
Fifth step
Production in issue of material/bill of material.
In this screen, we need to give approval to take the stock to prepare the kit.
In this BOM screen, we have two options for loading the Products
1. load Ptarget(F10)
2. Load BOM(F8)
In load Ptarget, we can able to modify the qty in the production plan
In load BOM it will not allow modifying the Production plan made in Production target.
by selecting any one of this we will get pending production target list. from the list, we can select the Plan to be prepare now.
select the Plan and load
Save the BOM by using F6.
Finished Goods.
In this screen, we can load the BOM and complete the process by saving the entry.
