RPOS 7- Year Begin Process - 2026_2026
In this document we will sail through the Year begin process JAN 2026 - DEC 2026
Step 1: Make sure the Server application is updated to latest version, and the System date is Greater than or equal to 01/01/2026
Step 2: Then log in to the application. It will give you a pop up "Do you want to run Financial Year End". Click on "YES".
NOTE: If you need to continue the previous financial year, then click on NO and change the system date (Previous Financial Year) and complete all the pending work and then you can continue the year begin process, by opening the software after change the system date Greater than or equal to 01/01/2026.
Step 3: Upon clicking YES as shown above, it will take you to another message box stating 'GOFRUGAL RetailEasy Year End process completed. For AccountsEasy later on you can do Year end process'. Click "OK"
Step 4: Now application will restart. Then you can enter your login credential and proceed.
Step 5: The successful completion of year end can be verified by two ways. First, Open Tools->Masters >Registration. (The second method will be discussed in Step 7)
Step 6: In the Registration Master, you can find the Fin Year Beg / End as "January 2026 to December 2026"
Step 7: The Second check can be done by doing a Sales bill. The First bill after the year begin will start from 1.

Before doing the Year Begin process in AccountsEasy for the Financial year JAN 2026 - DEC 2026, It is mandatory to compete the Year Begin process in RetailEasy application.
Considering that you have completed the Year Begin in RetailEasy, You can proceed with the Year being in AccountsEasy application.
Step 1: After opening the Server RetailEasy application. Go To, Accounts->GOFRUGAL AccountsEasy.
Step 2: In the AccountsEasy application, Goto Settings > Company/Financial period settings, make sure the Financial Year is 2025-2025, then click "APPLY"
Step 3: After ensuring the Financial Year 2025-2025, Click on Process->YearEnd Process. According your need enable or disable the check box. Then click on "Yearend".
NOTE: Make sure all other Client machines are closed and then proceed for the Yearend.
Step 4: Click on "OK".
Step 5: After the year end process, you can verify the year. It will be 2026 - 2026.
With this, we have successfully completed the Year Begin process. Happy Accounting...!
