ManageEasy Privileged User Accounts
Introduction of Privilege User (SUPERUSER) changes to protect your ManageEasy - (Formerly known as DE6)!

*You can overcome the security-based issues only if your privileged user accounts (superuser) are kept safe. These accounts are powerful and it is possible to view/modify the financial information, transactions, permissions, and sensitive business information.
*Providing unauthorized staff access to your privileged user accounts might result in costly mistakes. When you can secure then, why let unauthorized staff access your valuable data?
*Ensure you provide the right access only to the right staff by creating multiple accounts and protect your privileged account with a unique password.

To address this concern, we are pleased to announce the introduction of Privilege User (SUPERUSER) changes in our latest release, 6.4.0.9. These changes are designed to enhance the security of your business data in the system.
*To take full advantage of the improved security features and enhancements, we highly recommend updating your application to the latest version to avoid unauthorized access.

How to complete your patch update?
Get your patch update completed in a few steps:
1. Before applying patch taking the backup is recommended. Exit the application will automatically take the backup.
2. Open ManageEasy application
2. Open ManageEasy application
3. Verify the current version as shown below
4. Click on Updates button to check the new release is available as shown below.
5. It will display whether the update is available or not. If there is an update available, then the download button will be enabled. Here Click on Download to download the latest version.
6. Once you click the Download Button for the latest patch, it will start downloading the latest version as shown in the below image.
7. After completing the download process, minimize the update screen and close the application in both Server and Client, then click on "Apply Now" button to update the patch immediately.
8. Now the Patch is extracting the necessary files and folders to start the patch updating process.
9. Now click the "Apply Patch" button to start the patch.
10. Once you click on Apply Patch, the patch will and it will automatically start taking backup and copying the necessary files and will proceed with the patch process.
11. Once the patch completed, it will display the Message as Patch applied successfully. You can click the Ok button to compete the patch and open the application.
12. If you have a Client System, in the client, open the ManageEasy Application, the window will start showing the patch process automatically. The patch will update in client automatcally.
