Purpose : To clear the master and transaction data from the pos and update the new menu setup. The Transaction and master data will be cleared from POS and old data will not be visible in POS. The clear data process can be done from Web application.
Note : The login into TruePOS must be done using the administrator username and password
Step 1: Click on the "clear data" option in the right top corner by Administrator login.

Step 2: In the clear data process you can choose to clear the transactions or both the masters and transactions.
Note:
Transactions will clear all the transactions related to sales and purchases
Masters and Transactions will clear all transactions and master data too.
Click on one of them and mark a tick on I know what I am doing and click on Proceed
Step 3: The clear data process will be initiated
There will be a mail received to the registered email id. The mail will contain a authentication link to clear the data
Step 4: Login to the registered email and click on the link and enter the password. Then select Yes to initiate the process. There will also be a check to ensure to clear the data, click on yes and proceed. The data will be cleared in some time and you can start the new menu setup
Note: Once the data is cleared, it cannot be retrieved. So you can export the required reports and data before the clear data process is initiated.
