Customer Source Master

Purpose: The Customer Source Master is used to maintain customer source information and identify the source from which the customer belongs.

A company receives customers through different sources such as:

  • Dealer Reference
  • Social Media
  • Direct Walk-in
  • Marketing Campaigns

Using the Customer Source Master, the organization can identify from which source a customer was acquired.

Example:

Customer “Ravi Kumar” visited through a Facebook advertisement.
In the Customer Master, the source can be mapped as Social Media – Facebook.

This helps the company:

  • Track effective customer acquisition sources
  • Analyze marketing performance
  • Generate source-wise customer reports.

Go to: Master → Customer → Customer Source



Steps to Add a Customer Source

  1. Click on Add.
  2. Enter the Source Name.
  3. Select the Status:
    • Active
    • Inactive
  4. Click on Save.


Steps to Map the Source to a Customer

  1. Go to: Master → Customer 

  2. Add or Edit the customer.
  3. Under the Farmer Details tab:
    • Select the Source from the dropdown list.
  4. Click on Save.


Reports

Go to:Reports → Master → Customer Master

Refer to the “Source” column to view the mapped customer source details.
