Extra Care Master
Extra Care Master which represents the Extra care Warranty,which will be offered by the shop owner to their customers as an added assurance.It extends the warranty period beyond the manufacturer warranty.
Steps to Enable the Extra Care Warranty for category
Go to Tools--> Business Configuration-->Search for Warranty.
Click Warranty applicable Category.
Choose the Item Category Head which you wish to give extra care warranty.
This Item Category header values will displayed in Extra Care Master screen.
Check Extra care Warranty Years enabled in Item master
Follow the below steps to enable the field.
Go to Master--> More -->Tools-->Master Configuration.
Click Item
Under the Sales Tab, Click Enable button for Extra care Warranty Years field.
Click Save.
In Item Master
Create a Serialized Item.
Under the Sales Tab, choose the value for Extra Care Warranty.
Choose the Item category value in Category Tab.
Click Save.
Create Extra Care
Go to Masters--> Item-->Extra Care master
Choose the Item Category value from the category drop down. The listed values depend only on the item category which you have selected in the business configuration screen.
Select the Service Item for 1 Year & 2 Year Warranty period.
Enter the Start Value & end Value. And enter the warranty amount for 1 Year and warranty amount for 2 Years. This will reflect in sales bill screen.
Click Save.
Extra Care in Sales Bill Screen
Buy XCare screen
In Extra care Warranty screen, amount for each item, manufacturer warranty period and Extra care status will displayed.
Then click Buy XCare button to buy Extra Warranty for the product.
Click Buy button to purchase the Warranty. The Warranty Name is "1 Year" as specified in the Sales Tab for Extra Care Warranty period, when creating the Item. If you select 2 on the sales Tab screen, then the price for two Year warranty will be displayed.
Check the Buy XCare Warranty details in Reports.
Here You can verify the Extra Warranty Years & amount paid for the item.
If Extra Care Warranty was Purchased for the serial item listed in the given invoice number, then the 'Buy XCare' button will not be displayed.
In status column will show the Extra Care Warranty Period that has already been purchased.
FAQ:
1.For what reason, When loading bill "No Serial item found in the given invoice number"displayed?
When standard item alone displayed against the invoice number, then the message displayed.
2. No Xtra Care Warranty option is available displayed.
When the amount falls outside the range declared in the Extra care master, then in sales bill screen " No Extra Care Warranty Option available" message found.
