How to Revise a Sales Quotation in RetailEasy On Cloud

Revising a quotation means generating a new version of an existing Sales Quotation. It is used when prices and quantities need updates while keeping a history of changes. 


Prerequisite :- 

To allow revision of Sales Quotations, Enable Allow Revision in Sales Order and Quotation by navigating to: Tools → Configuration → Business Configuration.

Note: Once you revised a quotation, you can find only the latest revised quotation in Sales Order and in Sales Bill screen for Sales Bill generation.

 

 

 

 

Steps To Revise a Sales Quotation :-

1. Navigate to Sales → Sales Quotation from the Dashboard.

  • Press CTRL + F7 or click Revised.
    The Quotation details pop-up appears.

 

2.Select a SQ No which you want to revise.

 

3. The selected quotation details will be displayed.

4. Press F6 Save to save the changes.

When a Sales Quotation is revised, it is saved with a new Quote No., and the latest Quote No. appears in the LOV.

How to delete a item from the Sales Quotation?

To remove an item from the quotation -

    • Click on the Qty of the corresponding item.

    • Press DELETE. Delete confirmation appears.

    • Click OK to confirm.

 

How to change the item quantity in a Sales Quotation?
To update the quantity of an item in the quotation:

  1. Click on the Qty field of the corresponding item.

  2. Press BACKSPACE to erase the existing quantity and enter the new quantity.

  3. Press ENTER to recalculate the total for the updated quantity.

 

How to add a new item in the same Sales Quotation?
To add a new item in the quotation:

  1. Either enter the Item Code directly, or press ENTER key in the Item Code field to select from the pop-up screen.

  2. Specify the Qty.

 Can we able to revise a partially converted sales quotation which is converted as sales bill?
No, once sales quotation is converted fully or partial, it will not allow to revise the respective SQ.
