How to create new types of conversion in Conversion master?

Conversion Master
Use Conversion Master screen to define UOM (Unit of Measurement).
The steps for creating the Conversion Master are given below -
  1. Click Inventory > Masters > Conversion [UOM] > Conversion Master.
  2. The Conversion Master screen is displayed.



  3. In the Creating new record section:
    • In the Conversion Type field, enter the kind/category or sort or type of conversion required. For example: Kilograms, Grams, Liter, Milli litre etc.
    • In the Type field, Press F2. Select from the following options:
      • UOM - to define a conversion.
      • Packing - to define the type of packing for use. For example: a pizza can have a small, medium or a large packing box.
  4. Click Save or press F6 key to save the record.
  5. A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
  6. Click Close or press F12 key to exit the Screen.
  7. A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
Note: Similarly you can use Conversion Master screen for other units and subunits like GRAM, LTR, ML etc.
