What are the steps for installing the Set-up for Server of GOFRUGAL ERP?

Installation Guide:
The steps for installing the Set-up are given below -
  1. Download the Set-up file.
  2. Double click the Set-up. The Open File - Security Warning screen is displayed.



  3. Click Run.
  4. The GoFrugal6.5 Setup Wizard is displayed.



  5. Click Next to continue.
  6. The application will verify the system configuration.



  7. The License Agreement screen is displayed after Verifying system configuration.



  8. Select the option 'I accept the agreement'. Click Next.
  9. The Select Destination Location screen is displayed.



  10. Click Browse to select the folder path where you want to install the application.
    Note : Installation of application RPOS6 is recommended in the drive other than C:\.
  11. Click Next. The application starts Installing in your computer.



  12. Installation takes few minutes to finish the installation process.
  13. A new message Finishing installation is displayed.



  14. The Completing the GoFrugal RPOS6.5 Setup Wizard screen is displayed.



  15. Select the option to continue further.
    Note : We recommend you to restart the system once for trouble free installation.
  16. Click Finish.
    Note : If you are selecting Yes, Restart the computer now the system gets restarted. 
  17. The Store database screen is displayed.



  18. Select the option :
    • Server (or) Main computer, if you want to install the application as main computer or as a server that will store the complete database.
    • Client (or) Till, if the installing application system is client and connected to the store's database server.
    Note : To refer the client (or) till installation select Client (or) Till Installation
  19. Click Next.
  20. The Registration screen is displayed.



  21. Select the option :
    • If you are installing the product first time select I am a new customer. The following fields are displayed -
      • In the Email Id field, enter the valid mail id.
      • In the Mobile Number field, enter the valid mobile number.
      • In the Installed by field, if you are customer select Self or else Partner/Employee.
    • If you are a existing customer select I have already purchased your product.
      Note : If you have already purchased the product select I have already purchased your product
  22. Click Next.
  23. A Product edition screen is displayed.



  24. Select the Product edition based on requirements. Click Next.
    Note: Select the edition by comparing the various features available for different editions.
  25. The Type of server screen is displayed.



  26. Select the Type of server -
    • Single Store Server - Recommended for only one store with one main computer. It is stand alone solution.
    • HQ-Branch  Server - Recommended for a HQ integrated branch and your computer will act as main computer connected to the GoFrugal HQ edition. It is chain solution.
      Note : If you want to install HQ-Branch Server set-up guide select HQ-Branch Server
    • VPN  store server - Recommended for a branch store. Your system need to be connected to the  consolidated data server. This server is available with Enterprise  edition.
  27. Click Next.
  28. The Industry details screen is displayed.



  29. Select respective vertical identical for your business. Click Next.
  30. The Store details screen is displayed.



  31. In the Store details section -
    • In the Business name field, enter the business name.
    • In the Shop Address field, enter the address of shop.
    • In the VAT TIN/GST No field, enter the VAT TIN or GST number.
    • In the CST No field, enter the CST number.
    • In the PIN/ZIP code field, enter the PIN or ZIP number.
    • In the Fin year Begin field, select the financial year beginning month and year.
    • In the Country field, select the country name.
      Note:
      • Click Show more details - to view additional details.
      • Click Hide more details - to hide additional details.
  32. Click Next.
  33. A Default user screen is displayed.



  34. If required, you can change the Default user name and password. Click Next.
  35. The Check list screen is displayed. Click Next.



  36. Please verify the details. Click Next.
  37. A message 'One time password generated. Please check your mail/SMS' is displayed. Click Ok.



  38. The Registration screen is displayed.



  39. In the One time password field, enter the 5 digit password received by SMS or email. Click Next.
  40. The Database Configuration screen is displayed.



  41. After the completion of installation, a message 'GoFrugal License: 2 more days to expire' is displayed.



  42. Click Ok to complete the Installation.
  43. The User Login screen is displayed.



  44. In the User Login section -
    • The Login ID field is a read-only field and auto displays the login ID of user.
    • In the Password field, enter the password.
    • In the Today's Date field, enter the current date in day/month/year format.
    • The Till Name is a read-only field and auto displayed.
