How do Delivery Note Return Cancel in RetailEasy On Cloud


Delivery Note Return Cancel refers to the process of canceling a previously recorded return against a delivery note. This is done when a return was created by mistake or needs correction. Canceling restores stock quantities and updates inventory records, ensuring accurate stock and transaction management in the system.


Steps to proceed for Delivery note Return Cancel


1. Open the delivery note return screen Menu Access: Click Sales > Delivery Note Return




2. Press CTRL + F3.SDN Return Details pop-up displays only Delivery Returns that are not billed yet.







3. Select a Delivery Note to be cancelled. The Delivery Note Return screen displays the details of the selected return in [CANCEL] mode.






4. Press F6 or click Save to cancel. The Cancel Remarks dialog appears. 






5. Specify the reasons for cancellation and click OK.




6. Press F6 or click Save to confirm cancellation. After saving you will get the popup delivery note return canceled.


Note - After cancellation, TruePOS increases the on-hand stock quantity as per the cancelled delivery return records.

Can we check the cancelled Delivery Note Returns in reports?
Yes, you can check them in the Delivery Note Return Summary Report under the Status column.
