How to edit Delivery Note in RetailEasy On Cloud

Delivery Note Edit :

The Edit mode of Delivery note provides the list of all the delivery notes which are eligible for editing.

Note - By default, the Edit button will not be provided. Kindly reach 'retaileasycloud-support@gofrugal.com' in order to enable edit option in Delivery note.  

 

 

Steps to Edit a Delivery note :-

 

From Dashboard, Go to Sales → Delivery Note

 

1. Press F4 or click the Edit button

 

The Delivery Notes which are applicable for edit will pop up

2. Select the Delivery No. to edit; the Delivery Note screen will open in [Edit] mode with the selected details.

3. Make the changes which you require and click on SAVE to update the changes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delivery Note View or Re-Print :

The View mode displays the Delivery Notes that are in different states, such as Pending (Stocks delivered and yet to be invoiced), Invoiced or Cancelled.

Steps to view the details of a Delivery Note:-

1. From the dashboard, Go to → Sales → Delivery Note

2. Click on VIEW or Press F7

3. Delivery Note Pop-up(LOV) will appear and select the respective DN which to be load in screen

  • The Delivery Note(SDN) screen displays the details of the delivery note in [VIEW] mode.

  • Press F8 to take printout(Re-print).

  • Press F9 to exit from view mode.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delivery Note Cancel :

Steps to Cancel a Delivery Note,

1. From the Dashboard, Go to → Sales → Delivery Note

2. Click on CANCEL or Press 'Ctrl+F3'

  • Delivery Note pop-up displays only Delivery Notes that are not billed yet.

3. Select a Delivery Note to be cancelled.

  • The Delivery Note screen displays the details of the selected note in [CANCEL] mode.

4. Press F6 or Click SAVE to cancel.

  • The Cancel Remarks dialog appears.

  • Specify the reasons for cancellation and click OK.

5. Again, Press F6 or Click SAVE to cancel.

 

 

FAQ's


A Particular delivery note is showing in View mode but not in Edit mode, Why?

 

If a delivery note is converted into a Sale bill or if the delivery note is cancelled or returned, then the delivery note will not be available in edit mode. You can check the status of the Delivery note in Reports -> Sales -> Delivery reports -> Sales delivery note Summary. In the status column, if the Status is in "Pending", then only the delivery note applies to be edited.

 

Is it possible to edit and change the customer name?

 

Yes, it is possible to edit and load any other customer name in delivery note.

 


Is it possible to edit the selling price of an item in delivery note?

 

By default, it is not possible to edit the selling price in delivery note.

 

We can able to edit the 'Selling Price' while making bill?

Answer - If you require to edit the 'Selling Price' in the screen, kindly enable the 'Allow Rate Edit in Delivery Note and Sales Return'. If it is disabled, then while doing Delivery Note you can't able to edit the Selling Price.
