If you get an error while uploading the exported JSON from TFA to Govt portal, as like given below, please follow the given procedure.
Ensure that the TFA is in latest version. To find, go to "localhost:<WR_PORT>/webapp-upgrader" in customer's machine (or) "<WR_URL>/webapp-upgrader" (or) "<HQ_URL>/webapp-upgrader" in case of HQ customers and check it is showing "up to date" message
If in the latest version, do the following
- Go to TFA dashboard.
- Click on offline export icon (which will be on top right and green color download button)
- select the report you want to upload to portal and export again
- After downloading, if there are errors in the data, a warning message will be popping up saying what are the errors in the exported data. Similar to the above image
- Identify those data issues by clicking 'filter error' icon in each individual report (in TFA) which has errors and fix them
- If still error persists, export as excel and import the same file to GST OFFLINE TOOL which can be installed from GST portal website. After installing import the excel by selecting the same month and financial year for which the excel is exported in TFA. It will show the error rows. Please fix them and try again
If still, the problem exists, please report to the support team.
NOTE: If the problem is saying "Error in JSON structure", most probably, that would be done recently in Govt. side. So to find, please follow the step 6.
If the error in GST offline tool is "column header missing" as like given below, do the following
- Export as CSV format in TFA for the mentioned section in the error dialog box.
- Clean up the existing data in GST offline tool and use CSV import option to import that section alone
- Check for the errors
