FAQs
1. How is Price level generic advantageous over other price levels?
In Price level generic,
- you can configure item-wise, category-wise, distributor-wise and manufacturer-wise price levels using the single screen
- You can map any number of customers directly on the screen itself
- You can set the priority for the order of price levels to be applied using the price level order
2. What is the effect of customer selection in the price level (Generic)?
The price level is applied to all the selected customers.
Note: If no customer is selected, the price level is applied to all the customers provided the configuration 'Select default price level generic' is enabled.
3. What is the price level order?
If you have configured four different price levels (item-wise, category-wise, distributor-wise and manufacturer-wise), you can define the order for applying the price levels. By default, the price level is applied in the following order: Item >> Category >> Distributor >> Manufacturer.
Consider an item A from Distributor X, manufacturer Y and category Z. You have configured item-wise (10%), category-wise (12%), distributor-wise (14%) and manufacturer-wise (16%) price levels. Now, to select the order whether to apply the price level first to item-wise or category-wise or distributor-wise or manufacturer-wise, you can use the price level order option
4. I have mapped a customer name in the price level (generic) and also mapped another price level in Customer Master. How will the price level work in this case?
The price level is applied first based on the mapping in the customer Master.
