How to export an item with tax using the template in ServQuick?
Exporting an item feature is used when some changes are to be made in the Item name, tax rate, or item price. After export, a CSV file gets downloaded. The changes can be made to the CSV file and then uploaded.
Benefits:
With this feature, one can easily download the files, make the required changes to the items and upload them without many steps involved
Changes can be made to the existing item, and even new ones can be added to the list using the export feature
For exporting an item with tax, the item name and tax rates can be changed as and when required
How to export an item with tax using the template?
Step 1:
In the home page, go to Masters --> Menu --> Item.
Step 2:
Click on Export and select Item-Tax-GST.
Step 3:
A CSV file gets downloaded to your local system with the item details.
Step 4:
Open the file to make the corresponding changes to the tax rates and save the document.
Step 5:
After making the changes, you can upload the file for the changes to get reflected.
For importing the file, click on Import --> Item-Tax-GST.
Step 6:
Click on Browse template --> select the file to be uploaded and click on Upload.
Now, the changes have been successfully made to the items. Thus with these steps, we can edit the item details as and when required.
