Ingredient Price Update
Purpose:You can now update the price of Ingredient items used in Kit items directly from the Inventory module in TruePOS.Additionally, ingredient items can also be printed on bills.
Steps Included :-
1.Firstly we have to create Kit and Ingredient item in Truepos and complete the process of Kit mapping.
Note :- To create Kit item and Kit mapping follow https://help.true-pos.com/KIT-Mapping.html
2 .Now Go to Inventory module >> Select Ingredient Price update option.
3.Choose the desired location for which you want to update the ingredient price.
4.Select items by searching for them using, item alias code or item name and select your item from the list.
5 .Select your ingredient item from the list and you can see Selling price and MRP will be loaded automatically.
6. Mention Selling price and MRP for print.

2.Navigate Dashboard to " Inventory" >> More >> Select "Ingredient Price update" option.
3.Choose the desired location for which you want to update the ingredient price.
4. Select items by searching for them using, item alias code or item name and select your item from the list.
5.Select your ingredient item from the list and you can see Selling price and MRP will be loaded automatically.
6.Mention Selling price and MRP for print.
7.Click on "Save" so that ingredient price will be updated successfully.
8.Ingredient price will be updated successfully.
Note :- If the selling price or MRP for print is not given, then the price of that row item alone will not be saved.

Q1.What is the Ingredient Price Update feature in TruePOS?
The Ingredient Price Update feature allows you to update the selling price and MRP of ingredient items used in Kit items within the Inventory module of TruePOS.
You can also choose to print ingredient items on bills with their updated prices.
Q2.Why is the Selling Price and MRP auto-loaded when I select an ingredient item?
TruePOS automatically loads the current Selling Price and MRP of the selected ingredient item from the inventory, so you can easily view or modify it as needed.
Yes. You can select the desired location each time you open the Ingredient Price Update screen and update prices for that specific location.
Q4.What happens if I don’t enter a Selling Price or MRP for print when updating an ingredient item?
If you don’t provide a Selling Price or MRP for print for an ingredient item, the system will not save the price for that specific row item.All other rows with prices will be saved successfully.
