KOT Printer Mapping for Order Type Master
Purpose :- The main purpose of this is to order categories like dine-in orders and takeaway orders, we can map printers.
Benefits :- If someone places an order, the KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) will print from the kitchen immediately. Therefore, there is no need to manually direct the chef to make which foods.
Steps to be followed :-
Step 1 : Go to Tools - Configuration Manager - Device Settings.
Step 2 :- For Dine In Order Type click on the "Print Profile" Option and then Sales. Please find the option under the Profile Type Tab "Kitchen Order Token (KOT)" and also notice "KITCHEN_PRINT" under Profile Name Tab. Then click on the "Print Design" Option then the Print profile will open.
Step 3 :- Double-clicking the left mouse button on the print profile name will reveal a list where you can select the desired profile. But the usual profile is this one. Then select your preferable profile and press enter on that. Then click on the Print Design option.
Step 4 :- Once the Print profile open first you need to enable the Editing option, then under the "General" Tab click on the "Printer" Button and then select the printer settings and then finally click on the apply button. Automatically the settings will save. Exit from the printer setting.
Step 5 :- For "Take Away or Other Order Type orders" Order Type click on the "Print Profile" Option and then Sales. Please find the option under the Profile Type Tab "Kitchen Print" and also notice "TAKEOUT_KOT" under Profile Name Tab. Then click on the "Print Design" Option then the Print profile will open.
Step 6 :- Once the Print profile open first you need to enable the Editing option, then under the "General" Tab click on the "Printer" Button and then select the printer settings and then finally click on the apply button. Automatically the settings will save. Exit from the printer setting.

Q1 :- Can We modify the content of Print Design?
Ans - Yes We can.
Q2:- Can we check the status of Order in Print?
Ans - Yes we can check the status of food order which is new and which is old.
Q3 :- Can we print Instructions in KOT ?
Ans - Yes we can also print the kitchen note in KOT.
