What are the ways to give the discount

Purpose - To set preset discount to be given to customers and to enable this in sales for easy billing

To set Preset discount

Step 1: Go to Setting->Promotions->Discounts


Step 2: Click on Add discount


Step 3: Enter the name for the discount to be given and the percentage of discount in the offer and click on update


Note: The discount can be updated either in percentage or rupees


Step 4: If the discount is to be given is not applicable to all locations, mark no under Apply to all locations and mention to which particular location, the discount is applicable and save

 
Apply the discount in Sales bill
Step 5: Go to Sales->Sales bill
Click on Add customer 


Step 6: 
  • Choose the item to be billed
  • Click on the 3dots (more options)
  • Choose Discount

Step 7: Choose the Preset discount applicable and click on Done


Step 8: The discount set will applicable in sales as below
