How to use Mark-item-feature GoDeliver

Oftentimes, customers purchase items and carry a few items along with them and request rest of the items in the list to be delivered at their home. 


For ex: Customer might carry a Biscuit packet along with him and request a huge rice bag to be delivered to his home or customer might get take one packet of rice/atta/oil packet along with them and request the other items to be delivered to their home. Mark item feature in POS helps the user track the delivered products when customer takes away a few items and requests for the home delivery.


Creating a delivery bill using mark-item feature:


Let us think a customer has taken one atta packet along with him and requested another packet to be delivered to his home. 

Let us see how it is managed using POS and GoDeliver:


1. Open the sales bill screen, create a delivery bill and  select the customer and mention the details of delivery boy and the delivery time in the shipping details and load the products.




2. Now using the shortcut(Alt+Shift) i.e Mark item, user can mark the item which the customer wants to take away with him.




3. Upon marking the specific item, the screen will be displayed like this,

Note: The bill amount will remain unchanged as the customer has to pay for both the items.


4. Invoke the tender scree and click on "Save"





5. Now, the delivery boy can find a delivery bill in "Yet to Pick-up" menu.




6. Open the yet to pick-up menu to pick the items. Since one item is already taken by the customer, it will display as "delivered" in the list and the delivery boy has to pick up only one packet of Ashirvaat atta





7. Now the delivery bill will move to in-transt and the delivery boy can navigate to the customer's place using google maps by clicking on "Arrow" icon.




8. Delivery boy can reach the customer's place and deliver the product by clicking on"Deliver"





9. Since it is a cash bill and the customer has already paid the amount, the amount to be collected will be ZERO.
