Duplicate EAN Code [HQ]
The Duplicate EAN Code screen in Gofrugal HQ helps identify and resolve duplicate barcodes in the product database, ensuring accurate inventory management. It improves data integrity, streamlines operations, and reduces errors during transactions.
Many companies often use 4-digit or 5-digit EAN codes, which can result in duplicate EAN codes showing up in the database. This screen will help us spot those duplicates so we can address the issue effectively.
Let's take a look at the Duplicate EAN codes in HQ:
Navigate to MDM > Item Master Management > Duplicate EAN Code.
Set up your filters and click on Apply. If you find any duplicate EAN codes, then delete or merger them from EAN Code master screen.
To allow duplicate EAN codes, you need to activate the below Setup Configuration Settings.
Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Setup Configuration Settings.
Locate Item Master Settings on the left side panel.
Locate Allow Eancode Duplication and set it as Yes.
Click the Save button.
