How to enter the Wastage in RetailEasy7?
Purpose of Wastage entry in RetailEasy7:
If a product is damaged, scrapped, or missing, you can record the defect in the wastage entry and manage the inventory. The details of the defective products will also be entered in the GST file. In this way, the stock can be added to a wastage section in the inventory.
Benefits of Wastage entry:

It is possible to modify a scrap product and sell it for a lower price than the base price, this provides the liquidate the damaged stocks.
Easily identify waste products and transfer from the inventory to the waste and get GST exempt for waste products.

A Guide to enter the Wastage in RetailEasy7:
Step 1: Navigate to Inventory -> Wastage and choose the wastage type.
Step 3: Open stock updation (ctrl + U), the scrap product you entered will be displayed, along with the quantity you entered.
Step 4: When you open the sales bill, the scrap product will be highlighted in a different colour and the price can be changed.
Using this method, you can easily add products to scrap and change their price when you sell them. You also get a GST exemption for scrap products.
