1.What should be checked if the Franchise Invoice is not showing in 'PI Advice'?

If the Franchise Invoice is not appearing in PI Advice, kindly verify the following points:

  1. Business Type Validation
    Ensure that the respective Branch has been created with the business type set as 'Franchise'.
  2. Correct Franchise Customer Selection
    While creating the bill, verify that the correct customer has been selected and that the customer is created as a 'Franchise' customer.
  3. Configuration Check
    Verify the configuration setting "Save Purchase Order for Franchisee as" and confirm whether it is configured as Sales Advice or Sales Order. Ensure the correct transaction flow is followed based on the selected configuration.
  4. Correct Transaction Flow
    For a Franchise Invoice to appear in PI Advice, the transaction should follow either of the below processes:

    • Direct Sales, or
    • Purchase Order → Convert to Sales Order

    Note: If the process followed is Direct Sales Order → Convert to Sales, the invoice will not be available for loading in PI Advice.

2.Why are Global customers not visible in Customer Master for Franchise users, but still visible in the Sales screen?

Ans :
When the configuration “Show Global Customer/Customer Category for Franchise” is disabled, Franchise users are restricted from creating “Global” branch customers and can create customers only for their respective franchise location.

However, Global customers created by the Head Office will still be visible across all locations, including Branch and Franchise locations, for transaction purposes.

In the Customer Master, these Global customers will not be displayed for Franchise users because they are not allowed to modify Head Office-created customers. This is expected system behavior.

Even though the customers are hidden in Customer Master, they will continue to appear in the Sales screen so that transactions can be carried out without restriction.


3.Why were users unable to create Quick Add Customers for the franchise location?


Ans: The “Customer Category” was not available for the respective franchise location. Also, the configuration “Show Global Customer/Customer Category for Franchise” was disabled, which prevented the creation of Quick Add Customers.
 So Create a “Customer Category” for the respective franchise location and verify the functionality again.
