How to create a Loyalty Program?
Points based loyalty
Based on the amount of purchase certain points are offered to the customer as loyalty. For each loyalty point, certain redemption point is assigned. The total loyalty depends upon the purchase amount which could be product based or bill amount based. The loyalty point will be accumulated in the customers account which can be redeemed from the next purchase. You can redeem the amount partially also.
Steps for Creating Points based Loyalty Program:
- Click Sales > Loyalty & Schemes > Loyalty Program.
- The Loyalty Promotions screen is displayed.
- In the Loyalty Promotions section -
- The Promotion Code field automatically displays the code number for promotion.
- In the Promotion Name field, enter the promotion name.
- In the Promotion Start Date field, delete the default current date and enter the date from which the promotion starts.
- In the Promotion End Date field, delete the default current date and enter the date up to which the promotion ends.
- In the Promotion Type field, delete the default option and press F2. A list of Select Promotion Type is displayed, select from the following option-
- Item wise Loyalty - to offer loyalty for specific item.
- Loyalty - to offer the loyalty for the all items.
- In the Offer Based on field, delete the default option and press F2. A list of Select Offer Based on is displayed, select from the following option-
- Amount - to offer the loyalty based on amount.
- Point -to offer the loyalty based on point. Select Point.
- In the Promotion Category field, press ENTER. A list of Select Promotion is displayed for different promotion types. Select the option Customer Loyalty.
- In the Status field, select from the following option-
- Active - to make the Loyalty active. Press A to select.
- In-Active - to make the Loyalty inactive. Press I to select.
- In the Accumulation Balance Points field, select from the following option-
- Yes - if the final loyalty value defined in For each [Rs] field is rounded off. Press Y to select.
- No- if loyalty value is not rounded-off. Press N to select.
Example: For each 100 rupees, loyalty point equal to 1. If the customer purchases for 850 rupees, loyalty points will be calculated for 850 rupees which is 8.5 points. With no Accumulation Balance Points(round-off), the loyalty will not be calculated for 50 rupees and the loyalty points will be 8 points.
- In the Enable Recurring is field, select from the following option-
- Yes - to enable the promotion after the completion of promotion period. Press Y to select.
- No - to enable the promotion only up to given promotion period. Press N to select.
- In the Recurring Months field, enter the number of recurring months.
- In the Points based Loyalty Details section-
- The field S.No is read-only and automatically displays the serial number for different loyalty points.
- In the Start Amount field, enter the starting amount from which the loyalty is applicable.
- In the End Amount field, enter the end amount up to which the loyalty is applicable.
- In the For Each [Rs] field, enter the amount for which the loyalty points are earned.
- In the Points field, enter the points for each amount.
- Click Toggle or press F10 to switch to configure the equivalent amount against the point for redemption.
- The field S.No is read-only and automatically displays the serial number for different loyalty points.
- In the Start Point to Redeem field, enter the point from which redeem of loyalty starts.
- In the End Point to Redeem field, enter the point up-to which redeem of loyalty lasts.
- In the For Each Point field, enter the point value that is required to convert into amount.
- In the Equivalent Amount field, enter the equivalent amount for each point.
- Click Toggle or press F10 to switch to the Point based Loyalty Details.
- Click Save or press F6 to save the details.
- A confirmation message is displayed. Click Ok.
Note: A message Do you want to make this <<OFFER NAME>> Active? is displayed if any loyalty offer is previously created.
- Click Close or press F12 to exit the screen.
- A Confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
Amount based loyalty
Steps for Creating Amount based Loyalty Program:
- Click Sales > Loyalty & Schemes > Loyalty Program.
- The Loyalty Promotions screen is displayed.
- In the Loyalty Promotions section -
- The Promotion Code field automatically displays the code number for promotion.
- In the Promotion Name field, enter the promotion name.
- In the Promotion Start Date field, delete the default current date and enter the date from which the promotion starts.
- In the Promotion End Date field, delete the default current date and enter the date up to which the promotion ends.
- In the Promotion Type field, delete the default option and press F2. A list of Select Promotion Type is displayed, select from the following option-
- Item wise Loyalty - to offer loyalty for specific item.
- Loyalty - to offer the loyalty for the all items.
- In the Offer Based on field, delete the default option and press F2. A list of Select Offer Based on is displayed, select from the following option-
- Amount - to offer the loyalty based on amount. Select Amount.

- In the Status field, select from the following option-
- Active - to make the Loyalty active. Press A to select.

- In the Equivalent Amount field, enter the equivalent amount for each Rs.
- Click Toggle or press F10 to switch to the Amount based Loyalty Details.
- Click Save or press F6 to save the details.
- A confirmation message is displayed. Click Ok.
Note: A message Do you want to make this <<OFFER NAME>> Active? is displayed if any loyalty offer is previously created.
- Click Close or press F12 to exit the screen.
- A Confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes.
