How to assign specific role to a user in RetailEasy on-cloud?
When you are an owner of a multi-store enterprise you can assign a specific work that is unique to that person. For example, you can give access only to the Sales bill to a person from the Sales department. This restricts the user only to that particular access.
Benefits
A user has a unique and specific role to play and is henceforth available for a
particular access.
This enhances security as the user will not be allowed to access any other
options other than the one assigned.
User-wise configuration is done in multi-store Retail outlets for enhanced security
purposes.
RetailEasy on-cloud allows setting User wise configuration.
1.Goto >> Tools >> Configuration >> Userwise Configuration
2. Click on the Configurations Tab and click on Enter
The list of Configurations pop-up
Select one of the configurations you wish to assign to the user and click on ENTER
3. Select the configuration you wish to assign to the User
4. Click on the user id and click on Enter
The user id and corresponding user name list pops up
Select the user and you wish to map with tHe configuration is selected and click on Enter
5. Select Yes or No from the status depending on your wish to assign or reject access for the User.
6. Click on F6 Update and the configuration is set or removed for the User
Thus a user is assigned particular access enhancing the security of multiple access in a multi-store enterprise.
