How to do Sales Return Cancel RetailEasy On Cloud

 Sales Return Cancel refers to the reversal of a previously recorded sales return. It is done when the return was made by mistake or the customer decides to keep the product. Canceling the return updates inventory and accounting records, ensuring accurate stock levels and financial reporting.

Steps to proceed for sales Return Cancel

1. Navigate to the Sales  → Click on Sales Return → Then sales return Window will open

 

2. Press Ctrl + F3 Cancel key to load the sales return cancel, then the list of sales return will display.

3. Select and load the sales return that you want to cancel. After that, click on save.
You will get a popup of remark (Enter the remarks with reason for cancellation ) 
then click Ok and again Click F6 Save button.

4. On saving, the Sales Return No appears as shown below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Frequently asked questions

In which case, Sales Return can't be cancelled?

→ 1. If the sale return is already cancelled, it will not load in cancel LOV.

     2. If the Sales is done for the returned item, then sales return can't be cancelled

                For example:

            Current stock -4

             Sales done-4

             Sales return-4

If you try to cancel the sales return will get the message as "Return Stock sold already. Cannot Cancel the Return" . As there is no current stock available for a particular item.
