How to raise Auto Indents to receive items for a branch from Headqaurters in RetailEasy OnCloud?

 

 

Indents are requests or demands made to Headquarters by a Branch when a deficit of items is anticipated. There are two ways of Indent creations supported in RetailEasy Oncloud. One is by Manual Indents and the other is by Auto Indents. Here we shall discuss Indent creation and execution by Auto Indents

 

Benefits:

 

  • Raise Purchase Orders on time and avoid stock out situations with Auto Indents

  • Get Indents created automatically when the minimum quantity of items in Item Property Setting is reached

  • Save time and errors due to manual entry of items and quantity, by generating Auto Indents with a consolidated list of all items that are needed to be purchased, in a single flow

 

Steps to create and execute Auto Indents for a Branch raised against Headquarters  

 

1. Goto >> Tools >> Configurations >> Business Configurations.

    Set Load Indent in PO as Consolidate and Save

 

 

 

2. Goto >> Master >> Item >> Item Property Setting and select the Branch, the Min Qty   

    and Max Qty of all  items and Save

     Indent item quantity = Maximum quantity set - Quantity available in stock and the  

     Indent needs to be generated for the estimated number of items

 

 

 

3. Goto >> Purchase >> More >>Auto Indent

 

4.The Indent Request screen appears. Select the Branch for which the Indent needs to

   be generated and click on Search Indent

 

 

5. The Indent quantity for which we have prescribed maximum and minimum stock

    quantity will be displayed for the selected Branch. Click on Generate All

 

 

 

6. Now Goto >> Sales >> Transfer Out .

    The Stock Transfer Out screen appears. Select the Headquarters and 

     Branch. Press Shift + F5. The Indent list pops up


 

7. Select the Indent created and press Enter. The items for which the Auto Indent is

    created will be displayed. Click on Save

 

 

8. The Indent is raised and the same can be verified in the Reports.

    Goto >> Reports >> Inventory >> Stock Replenishment >> Indent summary

 

 

 

9. Enter the filters and click on Apply and the Auto Indent Details raised will be 

    displayed

 

 

10. Click on the corresponding Indent no. to get the details of item names and quantity

 

 

Thus, the Auto Indent is raised by a Branch to the Headquarters in RetailEasy OnCloud as a consolidated list of items and quantity for on time Stock Replenishment.

 

The generated Auto Indent can also be loaded in the Purchase Order screen with the quantity of items that are needed as an emergency measure, by loading Indents in Purchase Order screen.
