How to cancel an Indent in RetailEasy OnCloud?
Indents are raised by Branch against Headquarters when a deficit of items is anticipated shortly. RetailEasy OnCloud supports the cancellation of Indents that are created when there is no necessity for the specified items as anticipated.
Benefits:
- You raise Indents anticipating the requirement of certain items shortly so that they can be used in raising Purchase Orders precisely. By cancelling Indents you can confirm the availability of the items
- Once the Indents are canceled they don't appear in the Load Indent option of the Purchase Order screen, thus giving accountability for the items available
Steps to cancel and Indent in RetailEasy OnCloud:
1.Goto Purchase >> More >> Indents
2. The Indent cancelation page appears. Click on the Indent No. tab and
the Indent list pops up
3. Select the Indent and press Enter. The Indent items will be displayed.
Click on F6 Cancel. The Indent will be cancelled and will not be available for uploading in the Purchase Order screen
Thus Indent cancellation process is done in RetailEasy Oncloud. After cancellation, the Indents will not be available for uploading in the Purchase Order screen and hence gives accountability for the availability of the items.
