How to Re-Register a Node?

Node re-registration is a second layer of security, provided by RetailEasy on-cloud. Ensure that the below-mentioned pre-requisites are met before re-registering a Billing Node/Counter.

 

Prerequisites to Re-Register a Billing Node/Counter:

  • The Employee with the Node RegisterAccess set to Re-Register Also can only re-register a New Node/counter

Follow this path to modify the Node Register Access of an Employee:

Tools > Configuration > Security Configuration > Employee Master > Modify link to the right of the particular Employee > Login Details > Node Register Access

  • The Node to be registered must have the EasyPrint Print Service Installed in it

 

How to re-register a New Billing Node/Counter?

Step 1: Open the web browser on the device to be re-registered as the Node and type your RetailEasy on-cloud domain name in the browser

Step 2: In the login page of RetailEasy on-cloud, fill in the User Name and Password of the Node User and click on Sign In

Step 3: In the Node Registration pop-up, choose the Branch that you are re-registering the Node for, from the drop-down of the Branch field

Step 4: Click on New Node

Step 5: Fill in the Node Details pop-up and click on Update

  • Branch: Enter the Branch name for which the Node is being re-registered

  • Node Name: Enter a valid Node Name to identify the Node

  • Status: Assign the Status as Enable to Enable the Node

Step 6: A message confirming the successful update of the Node appears. You can Log in again to continue the operations from the Re-Registered Node

 

You have successfully Re-Registered a Node in the required Branch with a Node name, which can be used to access the domain in the case of an issue with an existing registered Node. Thereby, letting you carry on with the process without any delay or hassles.
