Setting up Nodes or Counters in RetailEasy on-cloud, with a web browser, Node license and a RetailEasy on-cloud domain name is a simple process. Setting up a new Billing Node/Counter hastens the billing process and enhances customer satisfaction. Ensure that the below-mentioned prerequisites are met before registering a Billing Node/Counter.
Prerequisites to Register a Billing Node/Counter:
The Employee with the Node Register Access set to Register New Node can only Register a New Node/counter
Follow this path to modify the Node Register Access of an Employee:
Tools > Configuration > Security Configuration > Employee Master > Modify link to the right of the particular Employee > Login Details > Node Register Access
The Node to be registered must have the EasyPrint Print Service Installed in it
How to register a New Billing Node/Counter?
Step 1: Open the web browser on the device to be registered as the Node and type your RetailEasy on-cloud domain name in the browser
Step 2: In the login page of RetailEasy on-cloud, fill in the User Name and Password of the Node User and click on Sign In
Step 3: In the Node Registration pop-up, choose the Branch that you are registering the Node for, from the drop-down of the Branch field
Step 4: Click on New Node
Step 5: Fill in the Node Details pop-up and click on the Update
Branch: Enter the Branch name for which the Node is being created
Node Name: Enter a valid Node Name to identify the Node
Status: Assign the Status as Enable to Enable the Node
Step 6: A message confirming the successful update of the Node appears. You can Log in again to continue the operations from the Registered Node
You can Register New Nodes/Counters under the Node licenses you have purchased.
