Mask PII Data


 The Mask PII Data Configuration provides additional security by allowing users to Mask or Unmask their Customer's mobile number/Email Id.

 

Following are the Customer data which will be masked using this configuration.

* GST number.

* Email ID.

*Mobile number.

*Aadhar number.

* PAN number.

*VAT TIN No
* Birth date

* Marriage Date

In Addon services screen, Mobile, Primary Email. PAN no, BRN no, VAT TIN no, GST number, Postal code, Company name, City, Address will  be masked.

Note: Phone number field values will not be masked .

 

Configuration for Mask & View

1. Go to Tools-->Configuration-->Business Configuration-->Search for the Configuration "Mask PII data". Check the mentioned configuration was in "None" or "Mask" or "Mask & View".

 

 

1.Mask PII Data- 'Mask & View':  

 When the configuration set to mask & view, users can click the eye icon to view the mobile number/ Email Id. Conversely, clicking the eye icon will hide the mobile/Email Id.

 

For Example:

1. Go to  Sales -->Sales Order Approval Screen.

2. Click the Approve Button

 

Now the Sales Order Approval pop-up will be displayed. The mobile number will get hidden.Clicking the eye icon will reveal the mobile number.

 

 

 

 

2. Mask PII Data- Mask  

When the Mask PII data configuration set to 'Mask', Users will not be able to view the mobile number/ Email Id. The Mobile/ Email Id will be masked and Eye icon will not be displayed.  

 

 

3.Mask PII Data-None  

When the Mask PII data configuration set to 'None', Users can able to view the mobile number/ Email Id. The Mobile/ Email Id will be displayed and Eye icon will not be displayed.  

 

 

Reports:

 


Mask and view PII data- None

When the configuration is set to  'None', while generating the reports users can able to view the mobile number, Email Id, GST number, PAN number and Aadhar number and it will be displayed.

Mask and view PII data- Mask

When the configuration is set to  'Mask', while generating the reports the customer data like mobile number, GST number, Email id , PAN number and Aadhar number will be masked and when the data are also exported ,the respective details will not be displayed in sheet.

When the configuration is set to  'Mask and View', while generating the reports the customer data like mobile number, GST number, Email id , PAN number and Aadhar number will be masked, To view the data right click on header and select show data in which the masked field will be displayed accordingly.

 

 

When the data are exported, the file will be downloaded in zip file with password protection .Once export the document, while opening the password will be a combination of first 4 letters of user's name and first 3 digits of report ID, formatted as "name@reportID".

Example- If the user's name is "Testing" and the report ID is "12345", the password will be "Test@123" and then user can view the masked data in the sheet.

1. Sales Return Approval

2.Buy Back Screen- Claim Buy Back

3. Tools- Add on Services - Company details can able to mask or unmask.

5.Master --> Rep--> Rep Master

 

 

Click Edit Button against the Rep master which you want to update & view the Email Id/ Mobile number.

 

6.Master --> Branch -->Branch

7.Master--> Utility--> Transporter

8. Master--> Customer-->Customer

9.Master--> Supplier-->Supplier.
