Product Category

Product Category Master
  1. Go to Master > Product Category
  2. To create a new Category, Press F3
  3. Type the name of the Product Group (mandatory)
  4. Set the other parameters according to your business needs
  5. Press F6 to save the category
  6. For modifying a category, Press F4
Note: You cannot modify in-built categories

Mapping a Product to a Category
  1. Go to product Master
  2. Select the product that you wish to map and press F4 to modify the product
  3. Go to the Pack and Tax Tab
  4. Set the Category from the drop down menu
  5. Press F6 to save the product
