Testing the configurations of Barcode Weighing Scale setup in Billing Screen RPOS7.

After configuring the Custom Barcode Profile for Barcode Weighing Scale, now its time to check whether the settings are working or not.


Let's consider the barcode for the Weighable Item as: W00319801500

Where,

W refers to prefix

003198 refers to the Item Code

01500 refers to 1 Kg 500 Gram

 

Step 1: Go to Sales > Sales Bill


 

Step2: Type W00319801500 in the Code field and Press Enter.

Before pressing the enter button:

Note: After pressing the enter button, the item will be loaded automatically and the Qty will become 01.500 [1KG & 500 Gram]


 

Now, let's consider the barcode for the Non-weighable (Countable) items: U00319700001

Where,

U refers to prefix

003198 refers to the Item Code

00001 refers to 1 Quantity.

 

Step 1: Go to Sales > Sales Bill

 

Step2: Type U00319700001 in the Code field and Press Enter.

Note: After pressing the enter button, the item will be loaded automatically and the Qty will become 1 [1 Piece of Coconut]


 

If all is working well, customer needs to extract the Item Master List from RPOS7 and give it to the Barcode Weighing Scale Machine Vendor. They will take the Item codes from the list and consider those as the PLU Code for the Barcode Weighing Scale Machine. The hardware vendor will install the compatible software of the Barcode Weighing Scale in the shop owner's computer and do the Barcode Designing as well and teach the shop owner how to use the software and upload the CSV files in the Barcode Weighing Scale Machine. The shop owner will upload the CSV file whenever a new item is created in the RPOS7 and whenever any changes in rates of the items needed to be done in the Barcode Weighing Scale Machine.
